How Long has Premier Entertainment been in Operation?
We have been in Business since 2011! Our Dj’s have over 10 years professional experience. We require them to have experience DJing weddings, parties, and corporate events on a professional level, not just a hobby. What that means is that you will get an experienced event professional. When you book with Premier Entertainment, you can rest easy knowing your event is in good hands
What If Something Happens to My DJ?
Although this is not a normal occurrence, we do have contingency plans in place. First, our DJ’s back each up. Also, we partnered with another DJ Company that can be called upon to assist if needed. That way, in the (unlikely) event that something does happen to your DJ, you’ll still get a professional, experienced, and talented event or wedding DJ.
Will the DJ Take Requests?
Yes we do! Premier Entertainment DJ’s do take song requests and play many of them. But we also filter requests we get from guests. So if we get a request for a song or genre that you’ve specified a “Do Not Play,” we won’t play it. But, on the flip-side, if someone requests a song that fits well with your vibe and music choices, the DJ may play it. It’s important to remember that your DJ is an event professional. They know which tracks get the dance floor going and which ones may clear it out. And since Premier Entertainment DJs don’t just show up and press play on a pre-made set, we have the flexibility to react to the vibe of the crowd. We also offer an online planning system vial Client Portal and also a Phone APP, Called Vibo, for super convenient music selection. This way you can specify your favorite songs before the event.
DO WE TAKE BREAKS?
No. Breaks are not taken unless specified by the client. Premier Entertainment provides continuous music unless an announcement is being made on the microphone.
HOW WILL THE DJ BE DRESSED AT YOUR EVENT?
You can decide! The DJ may be dressed in a Suit or Vest and Tie, Polo, or Dress Shirt. Whatever you choose, you can be assured that it will be tasteful and professional. The following attire descriptions should help in making a decision:
Formal: Suit/Vest & Tie to match event,
Semi-Formal: Black Shirt and Black Slacks
Business, Casual: Company Polo with Black slacks,
Casual: Company Polo with Jeans
We will never come to your event in jeans (unless the client specifies otherwise). We base our attire off professionalism which always include at minimum a polo with slacks.
WHEN WILL MY DJ ARRIVE TO SETUP FOR MY EVENT?
We arrive at least 1.5-2 hours prior for setup so we can be sure our equipment is test and ready to go upon guest arrival. We will coordinate this with your venue prior to the event date.
HOW MUCH IS THE RETAINER And IS IT REFUNDABLE?
It depends on the event, but required with the retainer is a signed Service Agreement which will reserve your date on our calendar. The balance is due 1 week prior to event.
Our Retainers are not refundable. However, it can be moved to another booking within 12 months of the original date.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes! Premier Entertainment is covered by $1,000,000/ $2,000,000 in liability insurance. We strive to provide the finest entertainment and at the same time ensure the safety of you and your guests. If you need an additional COI for your venue, we can do that too!
Do I Tip The DJ?
We do not include gratuity in the final contract price. 10 – 20% is generally recommended if your DJ did a great job, but it is entirely up to you.
